04 Oct Journey and Destination – October 5 2020
On the path of spirituality, the journey is as important as the goal.
Which is the opposite of ‘the end justifies the means.’
And reminiscent of Ralph Waldo Emerson, ‘It’s the not the Destination, It’s the journey.’
So today, I will insist on being present to how I walk to the corner, rather than getting to the corner; and present to how I interact with the cashier, rather than getting finished and out of the store/coffee shop/market. I will pay attention to how it feels to be in the world, rather than how it feels to be in my head.
