The Yogis of ancient times wondered: If the condition of the mind is affecting one’s breath, is it possible to change the breathing rhythm so that the mind can be pacified? From this insight, many pranayamas came to be. A simple evidence – if you watch your breath or become aware of your breath, the breath slows down.
If all of us just took a conscious breath once in a while, the world would be a much better place.
