The Birth of Christ – December 25 2020

According to the mystical tradition, Christ is born into the world through each of us. As we open our hearts, he is born into the world. As we choose to forgive, he is born into the world. As we rise to the occasion, he is born into the world. As we make our hearts true conduits for love, and our minds true conduits for higher thoughts, then absolutely a divine birth takes place. Who we’re capable of being emerges into the world, and weaknesses of the former self begin to fade. Thus are the spiritual mysteries of the universe, the constant process of dying to who we used to be as we actualize our divine potential.
Marianne Williamson

Today is the day we celebrate the birth of the perfected spirit in man. The Christ in each of us. The consciousness of Christ in each of us. We can begin by simply choosing to love. Choosing to love someone who may be, for us, difficult to love. Choosing to forgive ourselves for our shortcomings, forgive our parents/children/siblings/spouses for their shortcomings.

Today is a beautiful day. As beautiful as we choose to see it. As beautiful as we choose to see ourselves and those around us. Beyond the shortcomings and the character defects that each of us carry, every one of us is the same source of love and light that the Christ represents. It is a choice to see it in ourselves. It is a choice to see it in those around us.

Merry Christmas.

Today I choose to see the perfection in you by looking from the perfection in me.
